3. In November, 2013 a small group of traders sign a petition to have the pop up park removed. Sparking a counter petition by traders in favour and a community petition signed by more than 2000. The council vote not to bring back the pop up park. Cr Martin Zakharov and Cr Michael Clarke were the only councillors to vote in favour of keeping the park.
4. In December, 2014  following community campaigning and a flash mob singing protest, Council voted unanimously to make the pop up park permanent.
